Meet our TEAM
Our Mini Makers™ Studio is under the direction and supervision of a professional team of Educators, Behavioral Psychologists, Professional Coaches, student interns, and parents. Together, they aim to expose your children to a variety of educational and artistic experiences while they learn and play together!
Leslie Bosserman, M.Ed., CPCC, graduated from UCLA with degrees in Communications, Education, and Applied Developmental Psychology. She also is a trained as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and has experience working in Higher Education in student leadership development. Leslie is the Co-Founder of The Makers Place™ where she currently serves as the Community Manager and Director of the Mini Makers™ Preschool. She also works as a Leadership Coach and Lifestyle Strategist at her boutique practice, Lead With Intention®.
Joel Bosserman, M.A., BCBA, is a Behavior Analyst with a decade of experience working with children and families that have a range of developmental and behavioral issues. He currently runs an early intervention preschool program for children with Autism in the Woodland Joint Unified School District. Along with his wife Leslie, Joel is the Co-Founder of The Makers Place™ and also does Behavioral Assessments, Parent Training, and in-home work for children and families through his corporation, Entropy Behavior Services, Inc.
The Bossermans are based in East Sacramento where they live with their two young boys. When they are not playing at McKinley Park or hosting epic dinner parties, they enjoy traveling the globe, dancing (and singing) to all kinds of music, and reading as a family.
Taylor Olin serves as the Childcare Coordinator in our Mini Makers™ Studio. She is Mom to Harper Ray – a spitfire of a 2-year-old, wife to Ryan – a persistent and patient man with a powerful mind, and lover of all things coffee and Jesus. When Taylor’s not being her own boss with Mary Kay Cosmetics, she can usually be found running around outside with Harper and her two dogs, taking way too many pictures, and volunteering at her church campus as the Nursery Director. Taylor has a background in Medical Assisting and Early Child Development and is able to fully embody her passion for letting every child know they’re loved in our childcare program!
Carolyn Wooddall wears many hats as a wife and mom to her adventurous daughter and three scruffy dogs, and can often be found wearing fun hats while coworking! As a freelance writer and travel blogger with her business, Carefree Communications, she helps small businesses with their marketing needs. Carolyn’s background with kids spans more than 15 years of time spent as a camp counselor, Sunday school teacher, lifeguard, swim instructor, student aid to Kindergarten and First grade classrooms, and tutor. She loves to travel and spend time outside running, hiking, camping, and exploring…and she is currently working on writing and publishing children’s books!
Natasha Scott is a Mompreneur with a passion for fashion! When she is not working as a caregiver, she is designing custom suits for Men and Women (@ScottSuit) along with parenting her young, spirited daughter Sloane - mama’s mini-boss and business partner! Natasha loves to stay active in the outdoors and go on scenic hikes and walking her Border Collie, Lenny. She is so excited to be a part of The Makers Place community and is looking forward to making new connections!
Royce Timoshevick is the owner and creator at Think Big Little People. Starting a creative clothing line for young children was a natural choice for Royce as she's been working with children in creative settings for as long as she can remember! From after-school and summer camp counselor in high school to operating Color Me Mine, the paint-your-own ceramic studio in Folsom, to raising her own three boys. Working with children and being creative is her "happy place." Royce looks forward to working with and getting to know your children in the Mini Makers™ Studio while they work on thinking creatively together!
Stephanie Hage grew up on her family's avocado orchard in Southern California. She studied Political Science at California State University, Channel Islands and lived abroad in Italy as a foreign exchange student. After a chance to travel to Israel, Stephanie was inspired to build a stronger bond with her Jewish heritage. Having grown up an only child, Stephanie enjoys being a part of her husband’s large Lebanese family. When she isn't playing with and reading to her young daughter, Marguerite, Stephanie can be found doing chores or cooking plant-based meals.
Tony Torres comes from a business management background and is currently the owner of his own tax and bookkeeping consultancy. One of his favorite aspects of his day job is helping people understand their tax situations so that they can access their money and reach their goals. One of his greatest joys has been taking a significant role in raising his daughters, Josephine and Paloma. When he’s not nerding out on numbers, you might find Tony exploring California with his family, doing extraordinary things for a good meal, or refining his cocktail craft.
Jadelina Ly-Phomthevy is one of our Thousand Strong Student Interns. As the eldest of four kids, she has a great time looking after children who love playing with her! When not in school or helping in caregiving, you could normally find Jadelina practicing her violin or enjoying a good cup of coffee and reading Harry Potter. One she graduates, she aspires to be a criminal profiler or a trauma therapist that works closely with children.
Kailah Jones is one of our Thousand Strong student interns. She was born and raised in San Francisco and has been working with children since she was 12 years old! She loves teaching kids them new things and help them interpret the world around them As a big kid at heart, Kailah loves her work with Mini Makers™! In her spare time, loves to read James Patterson books, play softball and go on adventures around Sacramento.
Vi Tran is currently studying Human Development at UC Davis. Her interest in the different stages of human growth, particularly during the early age, inspired her to apply to The Makers Place™as an intern. As a social butterfly, Vi enjoys making new connections and building new friendships which she gets to do daily. Although her future goal has yet to be discovered, Vi plans to spread joy and positive vibes to all.
